Since completing his incredible run across Australia five months ago, Nedd Brockmann has swapped life on a construction site for one in the spotlight. He's now using the stage to share his inspiring story to help those facing adversity and homelessness.
"Life's been wild! It's very exciting," Nedd, 23, tells Woman's Day. "Knowing I can stand there and talk for 30 minutes and inspire people is a powerful thing." The tradie-turned-athlete from Forbes, NSW, is now rubbing shoulders with celebrity pals like funnyman Hamish Blake and singer Jimmy Barnes.
And while he has some exciting projects underway that will continue to spread his message, fans have their fingers crossed for a behind-the-scenes documentary soon.
INCREDIBLE MOMENT
Running 3953km from Cottesloe Beach in WA to Sydney's Bondi Beach in just 46 days and 12 hours, Nedd won over the hearts of the nation with his inspiring daily updates and shaggy blond mullet. As he crossed the finish line last October he was greeted by thousands of supporters.
