With rumours rife that Ten is set to revamp Seven's hugely popular game show Deal Or No Deal, Woman's Day understands the stars of the embattled The Project are worried about what it will mean for them.
A network insider insists to Woman's Day there are discussions "to move The Project to the 9.30pm timeslot" in order to accommodate the game show reboot, once hosted by Andrew O'Keefe in its glory days.
The sleuth divulges that the revitalised Neighbours, playing at 4.30pm, may also have a deciding factor on the future of the current affairs show, while Sandra Sully's 90-minute-running 10 News First, airing at 5pm, may also be cut by half an hour.
When approached for comment, a spokesperson from Ten told Woman's Day, "The Project will continue in its current timeslot of 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Sunday to Friday"
However, the question remains: where will they fit Deal Or No Deal?
TV insiders admit that it would make "perfect sense" for Ten to slot the new-look show up against Seven's unstoppable The Chase, but it won't come without a huge shake-up to the current programming, including pushing The Project later into the night.
