Kia ora, Jay-Jay!

I'm hoping you might have some advice for me. My dad and I had a falling out about two years ago, and I don't know how to rekindle our damaged relationship.

We ended up not speaking to each other after a huge fight.

Now time has passed and I realise how much I miss him.

He's my dad and I still love him.

The problem is, I don't know how to fix things. Should I wait for him to make the first move or is it up to me to reach out? What if he doesn't want to reconnect? I'm scared to try to make things right because I don't want to be rejected, but I also can't stand this awful silence between us any more.
