Pay less with a subscription
If you'd love to visit the movie theater one or more times per week, you'll save a bundle with a subscription: For a flat monthly fee, you can watch multiple movies every week-it ends up paying for itself within the first two visits. For example, for $19.95 to $24.95 a month (depending on location), AMC Theatres' AMC Stubs A-List subscription (AMCTheatres.com) lets you make online reservations for up to three movies a week of any format (IMAX and Dolby Cinema included), plus gives 10% back on concessions, as well as free size upgrades on popcorn and fountain drinks. And for $18.99 a month, Regal's Unlimited Plan (RegMovies.com) lets you see as many 2D standard format movies as you want, plus gives 10% off concessions. Another option: The MoviePass (MoviePass.com), a flat $10 monthly charge to see up to three movies per month at most movie theaters.
