We're talking to Luba Mushtuk

Has your wellbeing been affected by your profession?

'My job as a dancer has helped me to become mentally stronger. Life is full-on and can be tough, especially on tour, but I'm very grateful as every time it gets hard I have the tools to help me through it. It obviously comes with experience, but my career has definitely made me more resilient.'

How do you prepare before a competition?

'I always have an hour before the show where I go into my zone with my headphones in, music playing, stretching and warming up. I definitely need my own space and a bit of "me time" ahead of a performance.'
