In this issue we’ve gone out of our way to find ‘Elite’ Survivor cars and we think you’ll agree that we’ve uncovered some gems. To kick off this issue we profile an Orchid Metallic HQ Monaro with a 253 and 3-on-the-tree as standard. This beauty was owned by one careful owner for the majority of its life which explains the almost mint condition that it is in today. Continuing the ‘pink’ theme is a Wild Plum XA Fairmont with a white vinyl roof that continues all the way down the bootlid! It is quite impressive that this car survived intact and wasn’t customised like many other Ford hardtops from that era were. For something different we discovered a totally original Turquoise Jaguar E-Type V12 roadster that is in mint condition with only 11,612 miles on the clock. This big cat was personally imported when new and probably the most original unrestored example of this marque left on the planet.
What would you do if you bought a new Pacer for yourself after scrimping and saving and promised a dear friend that it would be their wedding car, yet three days later it was rolled at 90mph?
