The Year of the Rat, 2020, was the first year of a new round of 12 zodiac signs. It was considered to have many new beginnings, and so it did. These new beginnings, or changes, were unforeseen and led people to adapt to unprecedented situations.

Everything happens for a reason. It seems that the difficulties of last year might help us transform and begin the Year of the Ox with much luck. The hope is for a year full of prosperity and health for everyone.

In this first issue of the new year, Culture Magazin is pleased to introduce to you some interesting and useful articles. The first pages of the magazine feature information about the real estate market in the next two years and AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine. There is also a piece about Debby Nguyen, a young, passionate writer, who has explored both Vietnamese and the world’s traditional medicines.

Our cover story chronicles the experience of singer Huong Tram and her first Tết holiday in the United States, away from her home country.

In our Travel section, we take you to a place that is equally poetic and sacred – Bích Động Pagoda in Ninh Binh. We also go to Grand Manan Island, New Brunswick’s hidden gem, and the lovely Caribbean island of Barbados.
