Do we like commemorations? Not really. Ok, maybe a little. So we will take a moment to pop the champagne cork for the tenth anniversary of GRAFFITIART Magazine Magazine. What a journey since the time when Samantha Longhi and Nicolas Chenus decided to launch the reference review of street art! Back then, the Commission Paritaire des Publications, a sort of board of censorship French-style, had refused to recognize this magazine that promoted âvandalismâ. What a good laugh! Today, there is not a single mayor who does not come begging these âvandalâ artists to embellish their neighborhood. For this issue, no statement, no tribute, but a special guest: Invader, who celebrates his 20 years of career. An icon? Yes. For his technique: he managed to make his work last in the street. For his themes: he drew from technology and pop culture. And for his market recognition. He stands as an example. You will discover another special gift in this issue: the exclusive interview of the very secret Pejac. And for our birthday, maybe, and for the fun of it, certainly, the Canemorto group welcomed us to follow them in their manic quest for artistic gestures and logically, we welcomed them to use the magazine for their own purposes. A rather nice initiative that we will need to repeat. We will also be at the Urban Art Fair starting on April 12th. We are busy bees⊠with no time to look back!
