The Uni ted Nat ions Cl imate Change Conference, more popularly known as COP26, put forward a commitment by200 countries to accelerate their action on climate change. The goals lead towards carbon emission reduction, encouraging investments on renewable energy and increasing electric vehicles utilisation. The goals have not been lost on the plastics industry as even before the COP26, many companies in the industry have invested heavily in technologies that will enable them to reduce their carbon footprint.
In response to the growing interest on recycling, we are happy to include in this issue a section on Recycling.Starting off, we have Ravi Purushotham, Director â Asia Pacific at Rapid Granulator AB, Sweden, writing on how regrind can be maximised and the importance of having the right equipment.
