The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary and the cover of our magazine celebrates this with a painting of St Dominic receiving the beads from Our Lady. In his Editorial Fr John Walsh reflects on this devotion so beloved by the Irish. Fr Kellan Scott continues the theme in Evangelium where he writes about how a staunch Protestant came to believe in Mary’s grace and the power of the Church’s most important prayer. Dom Aelred Magee looks at Mary’s role as Queen, as well as Mother of Peace having given birth to the Prince of Peace.
