The first day of the Bengali year is called Pohela Boishakh. We celebrate the day to welcome the year. We welcome the day by singing the song ‘Eso He Boishakh Esho Esho’. In Bangladesh, it is a national holiday celebrated around the 14th of April each year. The traditional greeting for the Bengali new year is ‘Shubho Noboborsho’.
In this 16th edition, we will get to know about how the Pohela Boishakh celebrations and festivities reflect life in Rural Bengal.
This 16th Edition of the magazine is studded by Gorgeous Diva Ena Saha as a cover where she is spreading the vibes of summer vacation on a beach.
