The July-August issue of Marwar India highlights the community's ability to preserve principles that form a strong part of its identity. In our cover story, we discover how Devendra Kumar Jain of INOX and his family have upheld their business values and the single-minded pursuit to be the very best. Side by side, we dissect the turban which has for long signified hierarchy, authority, religion, caste and stature among Marwaris, and continues to do so in the face of modernisation.

We have also featured Anup and Smriti Bohra (who own 173-year-old jewellery house Jewels Emporium), Shantanu Kejriwal of Jungpana Tea Estate and Richa Agarwal, director of Emami Chisel Art in this issue. Finally, for some not-so-common sense, we have Vandana Shroff, partner at a leading law firm, talk about the importance of succession planning—a most relevant topic for Marwaris today.
