On 5th June which is observed as ‘World Environment Day’, The Neptune Glitz reminds all responsible occupants to “Conserve, Restore and Relieve a Greener Earth.”
It is often said that “old is gold”. It means things which are tested by time can be trusted easily. However, there are only a few architects and interior designers who really believe in time-tested materials, texture and colours. In this issue, we have published the projects of some professionals who always bank upon time-tested things.
Wood has been a traditional material for furniture. Interior Designer Rani Sabat, who is also an acclaimed furniture designer, always justifies the elegance and timelessness of wooden furniture through her exquisite designs. She has experimented with different types and colours of wood while designing the furniture for her newly built “Home”.
There is the flamboyance of this outlet at Bhawani Mall, Bhubaneswar, designed by Ar. Suman Mishra & Designer Ashish Deo, Colours & Textures, moods & expressions, all with an immaculate aesthetic which has created a magical space.
In a way colours are expression of imagination. Colours play a vital role in individual lives as they directly influence their well-being and mood. Among a few architects who certainly understand the vitality of colours in human life, Ar. Snehasis Tripathy is notable. In his latest project of designing a ‘Dream Home’ for his client he let his imagination expressed through different shades.
