Femina celebrates 65 years of existence this year with 13 incredible, extraordinary women who represent all of us. The magazine was first published in 1959 and, in the decades that followed, has established itself as a trusted companion for the Indian woman in so many ways. It’s in that spirit that we put together this issue with a very special feature. We usually put forth an annual list called the ‘Fab 40’ celebrating extraordinary women who do really cool stuff. The month of September heralds the festive season for people across the country. 
The month also feels like the month of transition, seasonally and emotionally. That’s why we are also thrilled to have an actor – one who is never afraid of changing the game – on our cover. We have the lovely, extraordinarily talented Vidya Balan who lets us in on how she navigates her career.
