Over the past century, St Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa stands as a forerunner of Catholic education in the region, with a structure that also boasts of architecture of the colonial heritage. However, recently, the college authorities required an expansion plan for the institute in order to address the growing needs of the school. The new Chapel and Resource Centre were undertaken as the final phase of the
resulting re-development project.

Embraced by the elements of mother earth, Green Paradise hotel lies nestled within a cove of greenery bordered by the Kumbukkande wewa and a mountainous rock on the other. Located in Dambulla on the fringes of the ancient Kalu Diya pokuna this agro-eco concept hotel has been designed to experience nature’s beauty.

Bamboo has a long history as a building material. It is widely used in construction throughout the world’s tropical and sub-tropical regions, with a range of applications to match or even exceed those of timber.
