Tatler Philippines brings back the pocket guide to the finest restaurants in the country, which is now called as The Tatler Dining Guide. This 2022 edition is not based on dine-in reviews as in the years past, but rely on the experience and recommendations of experts and aficionados to bring together a comprehensive listing of the best restaurants and bars in the Philippines.

In this volume, we tried and tested the best rosés and warm weather sips for you in Think Pink, and Summer Wines, respectively. In From Pots to Pages, we recommend
four Filipino-produced books that should be on your shelves (or in your kitchen!). Lastly, we had a good look at the country’s most beautiful ancestral properties, which have either been turned into restaurants or charming event spaces in Dine Down Memory Lane.

For a quick and easy reference to the overall dining experience of the 203 restaurants listed in this guide (it must be mentioned this is the most we’ve had ever!), each restaurant has been rated in four key areas—setting, food, wine, and service. The system is employed year-round by all T.Dining reviewers, whether they are appraising a restaurant for the guide or for the latest review published on Philtatlerdining.com.

In this 15th edition of T.Dining’s Best Restaurant Guide (BRG), we left no culinary stone unturned, diligently exploring the Philippines’ dining landscape, from swanky white table-clothed establishments to casual cafés and delis, and all the true blue bistros in between. We also ran through the entire gamut of the country’s best bars, starting with the sexiest speakeasies to sky-high venues with a dizzying view. 

Moving onto the guide, for a quick and easy reference to the overall dining experience of the 173 restaurants listed, each restaurant has been rated in four key areas—setting, food, wine, and service. The ratings are displayed at the bottom of each review through the use of easy-to-read symbols. These are rated on a scale of one to 10, and take into account a myriad of factors related to the dining experience.
