In this February issue, we feature the Baclaran Church in Manila as a place of devotion and mission. Every week, it is estimated that 150,000 devotees flock to the National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help seeking God’s mercy through the Blessed Mother. The weekly novena to the Mother of Perpetual Help urges the devotees not only to pray for their own intentions but also to intercede for the community and society and to be actively involved in evangelization. The Shrine renders a variety of services to the devotees and the local population.
