On the freshwater front
South African trophy carp legend Martin Louw and his son Dunkan experienced the angling session of a lifetime in November/December 2016. They landed the largest number of big carp in one session in the country’s history. Ricky van Onselen shares this special story with our readers.

Fly angler Rohan Koegelenberg is targeting the yellows in the Vaal River and this month he looks at the life cycle of yet another mayfly species.
