Prehistoric remains, along with some very much alive birds!
Reading about this place, I thought it was going to be one of my highlights of my trip into north-west Scotland, and it did not disappoint me.
The area is owned by the Inchnadamph Estate, and was a former National Nature Reserve, but a falling out between the estate and Scottish Natural Heritage over Red Deer numbers left the site only protected by Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) status.
