Without a doubt, Tommy was a bit standoffish and strictly my Mom’s cat. He really wanted nothing to do with me no matter how hard I tried to win him over. He spent most of his time sleeping with one eye open directly in the middle at the head of my parents’ bed, where he knew he was safe out of my reach.
