Horse magazine has joined forces with Petplan Equine and British Dressage to encourage riders to have a go at affiliated competitions

Aspire To Affiliate!

Riders who love dressage but haven’t yet made the move to affiliated competition are being urged to make this one of their goals and reap the many rewards it has to offer. Horse magazine has joined forces with Petplan Equine and British Dressage to encourage riders to affiliate.

To help inspire you to do this, we will be supporting three riders who are working towards competing in their first affiliated test, and will be sharing their journey over the coming months.

The riders – who you will meet in Horse magazine next month – will receive training and additional support, such as confidence coaching, to help them prepare for their very special competition outing in early 2018, as part of an ‘Aspire to Affiliate’ campaign with Petplan Equine and British Dressage.

“Aspire to Affiliate is a new initiative that will provide keen dressage riders with the knowledge, confidence and training expertise to encourage them to progress to affiliated competitions,” said Kate Hopkins, Petplan Equine senior marketing executive.

“We hope that this campaign will inspire more people to achieve their affiliated competition goals and give them the chance to compete at top-class venues and prestigious championships.”

Progress through the levels

The three riders who are featuring in the Aspire to Affiliate campaign will receive training from Petplan Equine Ambassadors, including international dressage rider Charlie Hutton.
