The bath and sanitaryware industry is seeing a lot of changes as a result of the ongoing pandemic. As an industry where innovation has always been a buzzword, the coronavirus is also changing focus on health and hygiene.
DO THE NEW
The new normal is all about using bathroom products that are healthy, hygienic, touch-free, self-cleaning and AI-con-trolled. “The market demands are to design bathroom and plumbing solutions that not only meet this basic requirement but also pair comfort and convenience with flawless performance, premium designs and long-lasting finish amongst several other features. As a brand that finds better ways to delight its customers, Watertec aims to deliver exactly this. Our end-to-end bathroom solutions have internal designs that consist of scientifically formulated raw materials that are anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-odour in nature, and external designs that promote ergonomic and minimal touch usage,” says Bantwal Ramesh Baliga, CEO, Watertec. The company has manufactured hygiene focused products in the last year and have introduced exposed cistern for sanitaryware with anti-bacteria, anti-fungal and anti-odour features. Kohler has launched a range of faucets called ‘Vive’ which has been conceived, designed, and manufactured in India as well as ‘ModernLife Edge’ which is world’s thinnest bathroom suite, pushing innovation in design and technology to accomplish the slimmest edge in the bathroom.
