Anat Hadar 2 Series

In this series, I've created mainly women's panties. I was fascinated with the idea of creating an intimate wearable object from material that is certainly not.

In fact, the chosen material is contrary in many aspects, such as the tenderness of the fabric, its caressing movement, and its delicate texture.

It was very intriguing for me, taking this hidden artifact, mostly discreet & covered with layers of our clothing, and unrevealing it, taking it to center stage, visible to all. My curiosity and interest in the project grew bigger & bigger during the creating process. In addition to that, my work deals with femininity on different levels. Each work represents a different type of woman who wears them, inevitably characterizing her gender, age, openness & sexuality.
