Unlike most typical family members, Jade Scrim didn’t want to borrow her step-mum’s car, she wanted to buy it! Jade belongs to a hot rodding family and has grown up with always having some sort of hot rod in the garage. The pickup was originally built by Jade’s father, Andrew Scrim, back in 2014 for step-mum, Melissa. Jade loved the Model A and pestered Melissa to sell it to her until finally, Melissa relented and agreed to a deal in 2016. Jade had the pinstriping done to add her personal touch and now she travels far and wide with the family in the pickup. Mind you, the deal came with a compromise – now she also has the duty of bringing all the gazebos, chairs and eskies to the events.
