IAA Mobility 2021 ticked all the boxes! As a platform for the mobility of the future, the 2021 edition, in Munich, presented a diverse spectrum of mobility solutions. A total of 744 exhibitors and 936 speakers from 32 countries are known to have taken part this year and climate-neutral mobility linked them. Organised by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) jointly with Messe München, an estimated four lakh participants made it to the edition this year. In all, 100 premieres took place, underlying the transformation of mobility. “The new IAA Mobility is a strong signal to the world that international exhibitions in Germany are now possible again,” expressed Klaus Dittrich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Messe München. Across 98 exhibition areas, 75 bicycle brands, 152 supply firms, tech companies and 78 startups registered their presence. Huawei, Microsoft, IBM, Bosch, Magna, Schaeffler, Continental, Michelin, ZF, MAHLE, Seimens, Valeo, Brose, MicroVision, Intel, Pirelli were among the exhibitors.
