Martyn’s been spending a lot of time in the Countrymans and said a sad goodbye to Charlie GP.
A change of season has brought longer trips for the Countryman, which in general has been a pleasure as I’m loving the heated seats, xenon headlights and it remains great fun to drive. However, one of those trips to Sussex showed that the excellent Media Navigation XL fitted isn’t totally infallible, which I found out to my cost.
I left home with what I thought was plenty of time, but sadly because of traffic congestion, the satellite-navigation system had already estimated my time of arrival (ETA) and it was after the time I needed to be somewhere! I carried on stop/starting my way around the M25 and that ETA was slipping further and further away, much to my annoyance.
