THERE WAS A TIME, not so long ago, when SUVs were just taken for granted as being powered by a diesel engine. But things have changed in recent years. There has been a shift in consumer preference and SUV buyers are now open to the idea of going petrol. To cater to this lot of buyers, Tata will offer the Nexon with a petrol engine as well. However, this version is no ‘also on offer’ package and actually boasts impressive specs with a 1.2-litre turbocharged engine, a six-speed gearbox and drive modes; it sure sounds interesting.
