xBhp: it’s been almost 4 years since Indian Motorcycle entered India. How successfully has the brand grown since then?

Pankaj Dubey: The journey so far has been very exciting and challenging. So, as you know Indian Motorcycle is America’s first motorcycle company started in U.S in 1901 and it has been and is still today the most durable and offers high-quality product. Polaris Industries took over this company in 2011 and in 2013 after almost two years of hard work, the company launched these products internationally and in another 6 months down the line we launched the entire range of the products in India.

In 2014 our first dealership started and from there to today, we are very satisfied with the kind of performance we have got and the kind of customer base we have created. After inaugurating the first dealership in Gurgaon in 2014, now we have 8 dealerships across India in Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Chandigarh and Kolkata. This shows the excitement and the positive response we have received from our customer-base. So, therefore we see Indian Motorcycle has a long way to grow in India and it would really be one of the fastest growing luxury two-wheeler brands in India.
