The Endearing Heartthrob Ishaan Khatter

After Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra, here’s yet another promising fresh face that has joined the league of Bollywood young bloods - Ishaan Khatter.

With flirtatious curly hair and winsome looks complemented by chiseled physique and marvellous rhythm on the dance floor, Khatter is stocked with everything that it takes to be a Bollywood hero. Much-famed for being Shahid Kapoor’s half-brother, Khatter has gained a fan following of his own. The actor has already claimed our hearts and set the B-town ablaze with his recent release ‘Dhadak’. His innocence, enthusiasm and heart melting ear-to-ear smile have the potential to bring the most pallid of screens come to life. Setting his foot into the big screen with a film as challenging as ‘Beyond The Clouds’ while still being on the pleasant side of 20s, Ishaan is not afraid to make audacious choices especially when it comes to films.

Although his debut film ‘Beyond the clouds’ didn’t grab as many eyeballs from the audience, he managed to rope in applauds from the critics. In fact, the film got premiered at the BFI London Film Festival where Hollywood Reporter Deborah Young complimented Khatter’s acting saying “noteworthy screen charisma promises well for his future career.” He was also awarded as the best actor for the same film at the 5th International Bosphorus Film Festival. After his recent release ‘Dhadak’ — an adaptation of the Marathi blockbuster ‘Sairaat’, Khatter is rising to fame at the speed of a shooting star. Packed with all the right skills for a bright future, nothing seems to be stopping him.
