Born to renowned actor Shakti Kapoor and singer-actress Shivangi Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor acquires PunjabiMarathi lineage from her paternal and maternal sides, respectively. Raised amidst a family of actors and singers — her aunts Padmini Kolhapure and Tejaswini Kolhapure are actors while her great aunts Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle are legendary singers. Hailing from a noteworthy Bollywood family, she dreamt of becoming an actress from a tender age. Kapoor was also trained in classical singing since childhood. Like any other kid, she would dress up and rehearse film dialogues or dance to songs in front of the mirror. Accompanying her father to film shoots only cemented her passion for the world of cinema.
