Longchamp's India Strategy

What have been your learnings from the Indian market?

For Longchamp, the India foray happened at the right time. If you look at the brand, its craftsmanship, quality, design and even the price point, it all fits in really well with the needs of the Indian consumer. The bags are chic and yet functional, a good blend between versatility, sophistication and elegance. Last year, we launched Longchamp at DLF Emporio in Delhi. This year, we have brought the store to Palladium in Mumbai.

Longchamp also scores very high on the popular airport brand chart, so we will soon launch a store at the Delhi international airport. We are concentrating on corporate sales and the wedding market, besides retail.
