Re-evaluating workspace design and safety norms in the aftermath of Covid

The panel speaker at the fourth edition of the webinar series aimed to share their own knowledge and experience working with respective multi-national companies and help the audience understand how organisations are coping with the return to business.

Given enough was already said and speculated over about the Covid-19 situation in India and its impacts on businesses, the speakers in this session shed light on not only what is happening in India, but across various geographical locations across the world. They aimed to share their own knowledge and experience working with their respective multi-national companies to help the audience understand how other countries and their organisations, who are already ahead in the recovery curve, coping with the return to business and what is the measure they’ve successfully undertaken.

To start off with Khurshed Gandhi, MD Cushman & Wakefield India, shed light on the current status across different nations. He pointed out that though China and Vietnam have gone back to work, MNCs present in the country continue to extensively practice WFH. These are countries where employers prefer to see employees in offices, with the onus on personal protection rather than social distancing. On the other hand, the USA continues to adhere to state and local guidelines as well as complementary CDC guidance.
