The recently opened Andaz Delhi redefines guest experience by celebrating the local spirit
Andaz, Hyatt’s luxury lifestyle brand that has recently made its foray into India, derives its name from the Hindi word for ‘personal style’. However, that is not where the connection with India stops. The 16th Andaz brand to open worldwide, Andaz Delhi in Aerocity is more Indian than you think.
In fact, it resonates ‘local’ even before you reach the hotel. Guests are greeted at the airport and ushered to a jazzed up Ambassador with a namaste. Once you reach the hotel, it doesn’t take you long to realise that it breathes Delhi; it celebrates Delhi.
Designed to capture the essence of the city by renowned architect Bauer Latoza Studio from Chicago and interior designer Virgile and Partners from London, the hotel integrates traditional Indian elements, colours and flavours into a modern design that showcases the true spirit of India.
What’s more, Andaz Delhi gives you not one but 401 reasons to fall in love with the city! Each guestroom at the hotel features a unique curated piece of art that reinstates a reason to “fall in love with Delhi.” The collection is integrated into a book displayed in each room called 401 Reasons to Fall in Love with Delhi, written by well-known travel writer Fiona Caulfield.
“In every location that Andaz operates, the hotel offers guests a fresh and stimulating experience that fuels creativity and inspires them to engage in their own personal sense of luxury and style,” points out Kurt Straub, vice-president of operations, India, Hyatt. “Not surprisingly then that the opening of Andaz Delhi has marked a significant milestone for the brand.”
