The rural idyll of Khao Yai proved to be the perfect refuge from the city for a renowned Bangkok businesswoman and socialite.
For Thomthong Tantikijrungruang it was entirely natural that her route to an ideal addition to her property portfolio was sign posted at a party. The businesswoman, president of Vatana Phaisal Engineering, is a self avowed socialite and feels entirely at home on Bangkok’s lively events circuit.
She had been looking to purchase a country bolt hole for quite some time before she pushed the button, with Khao Yai National Park, a pastoral expanse of forest and grassland two-and-a-half hours northeast of the Thai capital as her preferred location. But it was a conversation at a gathering that pointed her in the direction of The Creston Hills, one of the newest and most luxurious real estate projects in the area.
“The son of one of my friends approached me at an event. He had heard that I was looking to do something up in Khao Yai and urged me to take a look at The Creston Hills, “Thomthong says. “For me, construction of an entirely new place was not an ideal option. There’s the headache of overseeing plans and I’d also be up and down the highway between Bangkok and Khao Yai on a regular basis doing site inspections. I’m a busy women, both with my work and with my leisure time so when I saw what was on offer at the property, I knew that it was right for me.”
Located in a prime spot at the entrance to Khao Yai National Park, a vast wilderness of rugged peaks, roaring waterfalls and beautiful forest harbouring a healthy population of exotic wildlife, The Creston Hills is staking its claim as the most prestigious address in the area.
