Filmfare shot the exotic Sara Ali Khan in the equally beautiful and magical Kenya

For Sara Ali Khan’s first ever cover shoot, we wanted a place as unexplored as her talent and as breath-taking as her beauty. Kenya fit the bill perfectly. Undoubtedly, it’s a gorgeous African country with lush plains, awe-inspiring mountain ranges, impossibly beautiful weather, a coastal region that rivals the Caribbean and gracious people to boot.

Even though Kenya can boast of many eye-catching places like Nairobi city, Mt. Kenya, Laikipia region or the scenic landscapes in the Great Rift Valley, we chose the absolutely stunning Masai Mara as our location. There is a reason as to why Kenya is the safari capital of the world. It has it all, from the Big Five to lesser creatures that can only be found in this part of the world. The plains and conservancies are home to some of the most exotic and spectacular wildlife, you will ever see in their natural habitat. From balloon safaris that give you the most gorgeous bird’s eye view of the plains and actual game drives that take you so close to the wildlife… the surreal experience will leave you thrilled. During our shoot too, we enjoyed an amazing spotting of wildlife.
