As She Makes a Splash in ‘baywatch’ Movie and Meets Its Original Stars
As she strikes a pose in a sexy Ared swimsuit, it’s not difficult to hazard a guess as to blonde bombshell Kelly Rohrbach’s film role. The model and actress – and ex-girlfriend of superstar actor Leonardo DiCaprio – will be making a splash on the big screen later this month in the movie version of hit 1990s TV series Baywatch, alongside Hollywood stars Zac Efron, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Priyanka Chopra.
“It was a little daunting slipping into the iconic red swimsuit,” laughs the 27-year-old, who plays CJ Parker, the role made famous by Pamela Anderson.
“I did get to meet her,” says Kelly, seen in these images modelling Lipsy’s spring/ summer collection, which aims to reflect a dreamy Californian lifestyle, using feminine fabrics and fresh, crisp colours. “She has a cameo in the movie and it was good fun to meet her. David Hassel hoff [who played head lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the TV series] came as well. It’s a scene where we’re having lunch and she walks up. It was cool,” adds the star, who is excited about landing her first Hollywood movie, which follows appearances in TV series including Two and a Half Men and The PET Squad Files.
