Thank you for welcoming us into this magnificent residence… how did this association come to be?

“The clients had come across some of my work before and approached me to come visit the plot they had acquired in a new development on Altamount Road. I did a site visit and instantly loved the energy of the space. The rest as they say is history…” (smiles)

What was your design brief at the onset of this project?

“The space needed to be very versatile and dynamic – a balance between aesthetics and functionality. The clients, a couple in their 40s, wanted a space they could entertain in that was still homely and relaxing. Their four children (all in their late teen’s and early 20s) each had a mini brief of their own with regards to what they wanted for their individual spaces. So the challenge lay in how to incorporate these six briefs into one seamless space for everybody.”

This is truly an inspired project – what were your inspirations at the beginning of designing the entire project and your vision for the same?

“Like all my projects, I design keeping the key elements of the space in mind. The apartment is in a high-rise structure with stunning views of the city and the sea with plenty of natural light.”

How did you combine your creative instincts and technical know-how with the owner’s vision?
