Supermodel Gisele Bundchen – who split from the heart-throb in 2005 and is married to footballer Tom Brady now – has confessed that she decided to end the relationship after getting a new perspective on life.

“No longer numbing myself with smoking, drinking and too much work, I was becoming more and more aware of things that I’d chosen not to look at,” she told Porter magazine earlier this month. “Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while [Leo] stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”
