'I Don't Know If I Can Do It Again'

The Countess isn’t letting a divorce and arrest keep her down

Money can’t buy you class... but it can buy you a whole lot of booze and land you behind bars! And that’s exactly what happened to Real Housewife of New York Luann de Lesseps – aka “The Countess” – on December 23 last year when she was arrested for public intoxication and assaulting a police officer during an incident in Palm Beach, Florida.

Just three months prior to the arrest, her seven-month marriage to businessman Tom D’Agostino, 51, had imploded, so with all that going on, it’s no wonder that Lu, 52, believes Season 10 of her hit show is her most dramatic season yet – and maybe her last! Noooooo!

“My story this season is about the difficult experience of coming out of a divorce,” Luann tells NW exclusively. “And, of course, getting into trouble legally and being able to help myself out of the situation and move on.”

So what else has the mum-of-two – who likens herself to “a phoenix rising from the ashes” – got going on in her, er, chic (c’est la vie) life? NW checks in...

You recently checked into rehab for a month. How are you feeling? I’m feeling really great. I’m doing yoga, taking care of myself and gaining my power back as a woman.
