The tension between Kim Kardashian and Beyonce has been simmering for years, with constant rumours of cattiness and clashes involving the two kweens.

But the rift could be coming to a head, now that their respective husbands – and former best mates – Kanye West and Jay-Z are preparing to do legal battle.

According to reports, Kanye is determined to “drag” his friend through the courts to get the $3.8 million bonus he believes he’s owed after his 2016 album The Life Of Pablo brought in 1.5 million new subscribers to Jay’s Tidal streaming service.

“Kanye is desperate for money,” a source tells Life & Style mag. “And he will fight for it.”

If the case goes to trial, legal experts say Kanye and Jay would both have to testify under oath in a courtroom showdown that’s likely to reveal their most delicate secrets – and there’s a strong chance their famous wives would be subpoenaed, too!

“Neither would hesitate to show up and fight in their husband’s corner,” spills an insider close to the situation.

Adds another, “The only reason Beyonce ever gave Kim the time of day was for Jay. She respects Kim’s drive – but that doesn’t mean she respects her.” Ouch!

Given the icy reception she’s had from Bey over the years, it’s no real surprise that Kim is willing to play dirty to protect her hubby, with our insider revealing Kim is “relishing the prospect of standing up to Bey in open court”.
