FORMER New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been a bully, a cheat and a pervy creep for years, according to insiders, who aren’t surprised he’s been smacked with a criminal charge for sexual assault!

The disgraced politician — who was once touted as a possible presidential candidate — faces up to a year behind bars if he’s found guilty of groping a former aide at New York’s executive mansion in Albany!

Cuomo’s lawyers blasted the charge as a political witch hunt after State Attorney General Letitia James announced her run for governor on the same day the charge was filed.

“This is not professional law enforcement! This is politics!” snapped Cuomo’s personal attorney Rita Glavin.
