Cheryl excited to get career back on track

After taking a brief break from the spotlight, pals say the star feels this is her time to shine

Cheryl Tweedy is focusing on the relaunch of her career and making a bold return to the limelight, a source has told us.

The star has taken a step back from music since the birth of her son Bear in 2017, but last week she was pictured smiling as she attended rehearsals for the Mighty Hoopla festival in London ahead of a scheduled performance.

“Bear is Cheryl’s priority and that will always be the case,” the source said. “But for the past four years, she’s taken a step back from performing and now feels ready to get back out there again. Being on stage makes her so happy and she’s keen to get her singing career back on track.”
