Imogen Thomas opens up about her love life, motherhood and mental health

Whenever we chat to Imogen Thomas, it’s like catching up with an old friend. The model and reality star is always refreshingly open – and it’s no different when we sit down with her over afternoon tea at London’s Corinthia Hotel in aid of Breast Cancer Now.

Imogen, who has daughters Ariana, eight, and Siera, five, with ex-boyfriend Adam Horsley, is enjoying a rare afternoon away from home since pandemic restrictions started easing. And while she’s excited about things returning to normal, she admits she feels anxious after being stuck indoors for the majority of the past year.

The former Big Brother star has been single since splitting up with Adam in 2018 after six years together. She says she enjoyed some casual chats on dating apps during lockdown, but tells us her love life is “nonexistent”.

Here, Imogen, 38, also remembers her close friend Nikki Grahame, who died from anorexia in April, and opens up about her own issues with mental health…

Hi Imogen! How have you found the past year?

Lockdown was fine for me – I actually really enjoyed it. Now that everything is opening up again, I thought I would be absolutely fine, but going to places and having dinner reservations is giving me a bit of anxiety. But it is nice to get everything back to normal a bit more.

How did your girls cope in lockdown?
