With Master Archie’s christening over, the royals can get down to raising their little princess and princes… a little differently to how they were brought up.

Although Harry and William were always shown affection by their mother Princess Diana, a source tells OK! that the boys ‘didn’t have a very family centric upbringing’ – but for their kids, times have changed.

Now that both princes have children of their own, it seems they want their kids to grow up far differently to them. For William and wife Duchess Kate, both 37, this means bucking royal protocol and raising Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, 14 months, under their own set of rules.

‘William and Kate are extremely hands-on. Everyone at the palace is in awe of what wonderful parents they are – and how they’ve managed to raise such sweet and grounded children,’ an insider tells OK!. ‘Since day one, William and Kate have made it their mission to give their kids a happy and loving upbringing, and so far, they’ve succeeded. They’re just your average kids, and their parents intend to keep it that way.’
