Alyssa’s article about Adam’s sordid past turns out to be a huge hit for ChancComm, but the fallout is causing collateral damage. Because the exposé includes details of Adam kidnapping Sharon’s newborn, Faith, many years ago, she gets unmercifully taunted by classmates about the drama.

At the coffeehouse, Mariah is worried that her little sister seems a bit too stoic, so Mariah calls Nick, who shows up to check on his daughter. “Faith is actually a little perturbed when Nick expresses concern,” says Joshua Morrow (Nick). “She’s putting on a brave face, but she’s not telling Nick everything that she’s feeling. She’s being tough for everyone and trying not to make a big deal about it.”
