Gwen & Blake: Baby Plans

The always swooning couple have been coming to terms with the prospect that they may never have children together.

As they gear up to celebrate their four-year anniversary, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have been reminiscing about their courtship — “It still feels like it’s pretty new to me,” Blake recently mused. “Man, it seems like it just happened in no time.”

But while they’ve been tempted to gush about the good times since meeting as co-coaches on The Voice, Gwen, 50, and Blake, 43, have also been taking stock about what might be missing — their own bundle of joy. A Star source reports that Gwen has been wistful about missing her chance to give her boyfriend a biological child, especially since he’s proven himself to be a natural father figure to the sons Gwen shares with ex Gavin Rossdale (Kingston, 13, Zuma, 11, and Apollo, 5). “She looks at her future with Blake and wonders if, over the long haul, he’ll be happy without ever having a child of his own. Gwen knows that at her age, having another baby just isn’t in the cards.”
