As the Live with Kelly and Ryan cohost prepares to turn 49 — just weeks after sending her second child, daughter Lola, off to college — she’s feeling as energized, optimistic and youthful as ever, a Star insider says: “She has more energy than she did in her 30s. She’s even looking forward to turning 50 — no jitters over that whatsoever.”

Kelly and her hubby, Mark Consuelos, have long appeared to defy the passage of time — not just in how little they seem to have aged since meeting as All My Children costars in 1995 (they eloped to Las Vegas the following year), but also with their teenage-style public swooning over each other and “love of my life” shout-outs. Though they keep their kids close — Michael, 22, stars with Mark on Riverdale; Lola, 18, stayed in town for school at NYU; and Joaquin, 16, still lives at home — the kids’ burgeoning independence has actually given their marriage a major boost.
