James is caught like a cheating rat when his fiancée Marang finds a belt. And she knows who the other woman is.

Business power-couple James(Dingaan Mokebe) and his fiancéeMarang (Sharon Seno) have what looks like a solid relationship, but it’s about to hit the skids, explains Sharon. “From the outside, they’re an unbreakable couple. They have been through a lot since 2019 when they started dating and they’re ready to get married.” While Marang is planning her wedding – and she’s hoping for a huge, flashy event says Sharon – her fiancé is committing sins of the flesh. “With her maid of honor and best friend Imani (Zonke Mchunu) of all people,” explains Sharon, whose character is hurt, confused, and stunned by the discovery.

BEST FRENEMY

Marang and Imani are besties. They do everything together and there are no secrets. They talk about anything that is on their chests, like Marang spending more time with her businessman ex-boyfriend KK (Macdonald Ndou), who happens to be James’s rival. “There is actually nothing there. It’s just two now-friends who have been working together on a project,” says Dingaan. But his character James is feeling neglected while Marang is working with KK and he seeks answers from the one person who can give him guidance and advice: Imani. “Imani has also supported James when there was issues with Marang. James and his fiancée have their ups and downs and Imani has always listened to James, so he has maybe started to believe there is more there than just friendship.”
