Allison Mack - ‘SHE'S AN EVIL MONSTER'

For two years she was the doe-eyed and trusted TV star that recruited and trained unsuspecting women to be sex slaves for NXIVM leader Keith Raniere. But on June 30, Allison Mack was finally sentenced for her role in the cult after she pleaded guilty in 2019 to racketeering and racketeering conspiracy charges.

The former Smallville star was given a three-year term of imprisonment and fined $26,000 for her role as a leader within NXIVM’s “secret society” DOS. The group branded their followers with the initials of Raniere, 60, who became their “master” and subjected them to “sinister sex acts”.

The 38-year-old actress, who was facing up to 40 years in prison, apologised to her victims ahead of her sentencing while begging to be allowed to serve her punishment from home.

“I’m filled with remorse and guilt. I renounced Keith Raniere and all of his teachings,” Mack said in a statement given to the court. “From the deepest part of my soul, I am sorry.”

Not everyone bought her apology though, with one of the victims telling the court her contrition was all for show and expressed outrage after Mack was given a lenient sentence. Raniere was sentenced to 120 years in prison in October.

“Allison is a predator, a danger to society, and has no remorse for her victims,” said Jessica Joan, who Mack had recruited to the cult.

“She can blame Keith all she wants but she is the menace cut from the same cloth. She sought me out like a predator stalking her prey … Allison Mack and Keith Raniere are the most evil monsters I’ve ever met,” she added.
