But, in what’s come as a shock to Friends fans around the world, their real-life counterparts Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer also shared an intense chemistry off-screen.

During the hit show’s recent TV special, Friends: The Reunion, the pair dropped one of the biggest scoops in sitcom history after host James Corden asked if any romances had developed off-screen amongst the cast. “The first season, I had a major crush on Jen,” Schwimmer, 54, revealed on the special. “It was reciprocated,” Aniston, 52, replied.
